Each year Countess Mountbatten Hospice works in partnership with local solicitors across Hampshire who kindly donate their time and expertise to help you make or update you will.
During our Make Your Will Month you can have your will written by one of our supporting solicitors in return for a suggested minimum donation of £100 for a straightforward single will, or £150 for a straightforward double will. Please note that more detailed wills may incur an additional charge and should be discussed with your solicitor before a will is completed.

Why do I need a Will?
It’s important that you make plans for the assets you leave when you die, however large or small, to ensure your money and possessions go to the people and charities that you care about.
Having a properly made Will should ensure that the burden of taking care of your affairs is greatly lessened for your family or friends. It will also ensure that, in the case of an unmarried person with no surviving family members, your Estate cannot pass to the Crown (the Government).
How to get involved
Make a Will Month is from the 1st – 31st May 2019. Below are a list of solicitors who are taking part. Please contact the solicitor of your choice in advance to make an appointment between the 1st to 31st May quoting ‘CMH Make a Will Month’. We would recommend that you book early as spaces are limited and are on a ‘first come’ basis.
Each year it costs over £6 million to provide our vital service, and with limited NHS funding, we need to fundraise much of this. This is only possible thanks to the support from our local community.
